Internet - Web and the Bible

This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: They sparkled like chrysolite, and all four looked alike. Each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel. Ezekiel 1:16

Sparkled means a transient appearance of light or a brief occurrence.
Chrysolite is a gemstone very similar to the glass in fiber-optics cables.
So, the verse might describe the fiber-optics used in the infrastructure of Internet / Web which comprise numerous intersecting networks (wheel intersecting a wheel).

Their rims were high and awesome, and all four rims were full of eyes all around. Ezekiel 1:18

This verse can figuratively represent the fiber-optics connections (eyes all around) on a Internet / Web network (rim).

Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that men may bring you the wealth of the nations... Isaiah 60:11

This verse can figuratively describe the nodes, routers from the Internet / Web topology / structure, thus creating gateway that are never shut, day or night.

Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations. Isaiah 62:10

This verse could describe the transfer of the information through the gates and routers of Internet / Web, and the ever evolving of its infrastructure that is increasing exponentially. Furthermore, Internet / Web is now ubiquitous and is reaching all nations of the earth, that no obstacle (stone) could stop. It is a network of network with such redundancy that it is almost impossible to stop.

Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch... Don't be afraid; from now on you will catch men... Luke 5:4, 10

This verse could describe the use of Internet / Web to reach people (catch) with the Gospel and the truth. We do not have to be afraid of using it extensively.

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14

The Internet / Web infrastructure covers all the earth with some of its cables between continents on the sea-bed. Its proper use will fill the earth with the knowledge of the Glory of The Lord.

In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance." Isaiah 19:23-25

The highway could represent Internet / Web network to carry out commerce back and forth between distant places. Also, people in distant places are able to worship together through Internet / Web infrastructure and networks.

And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it. Isaiah 35:8

In the last days a network (Internet / Web) will link the Saints, those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
